LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Students at five JCPS high Schools will get some extra help on the ACT test.
The Jefferson County Public Education Foundation just awarded Seneca, Fairdale, Iroquois, Valley and Waggener High Schools a $250,000 ACT Now grant. The goal is to give students resources to prepare for the test to improve their score and go to college.
Each school will set up its own unique program.
After the grant is over, the programs will be evaluated and the district hopes to use the ideas at other schools.
