LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The circus is coming to town and it's hard to miss.

The elephants and other animals were on parade in downtown Louisville for their traditional walk that builds excitement and attracts fans to the streets.

We caught one of the elephants making its way from the circus train at 10th and Broadway to the KFC Yum Center

That's where the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus will start performances on Thursday.

The circus runs through Sunday.
