Accused serial killer back in court for second trial date

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Accused serial killer William Clyde Gibson is set to be back in court Wednesday morning.

Attorneys are hoping that Wednesdays mornings court date will set the date of Gibson's second trial. Gibson's trial is for the death of Christine Whitis is scheduled for July.

There are about 800 potential jurors from Dearborn County, Indiana for the trial who have been sent jury questionnaires. Once jurors are selected, they'll be brought to Floyd County for the trial.

Gibson is also accused of killing Stephanie Kirk and Karen Hodella. He could face the death penalty if convicted.
