LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Police say a door-to-door solicitor was just a little too ambitious. A police report says Justin Chavez knocked on the door of a police officer's home on Benje Way, near Barbour Lane and I-71, last week.
The officer answered the door and told him to leave, but according to arrest reports, Chavez refused.
At one point, police say he took a swing at the officer. The officer said he feared for the safety of his family and forced Chavez to the ground, arresting him.
He's charged with trespassing, menacing, assault, and resisting arrest.
