Gov. Pence okay after accident

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana's Governor Mike Pence was involved in an accident Thursday morning.

Governor Pence was not hurt in the accident. Indiana State Police representatives say the Governor's SUV was hit after a driver ran a stop sign near an entrance ramp to Interstates 65 and 70.

The driver was cited for failing to stop and both vehicles were towed.

Pence was heading to a bill signing in Fort Wayne when the accident occurred.

Following the accident, Pence got into a separate state vehicle and continued to Fort Wayne.
