LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Kentucky football player is now recovering at a Georgia hospital.
Sophomore safety, Ashely Lowery, suffered injuries from a car accident Friday night.
UK's athletic department spokesman, Tony Neely, says he is being treated in a hospital and the school is still getting details about the accident and his condition.
Lowery started in eight games last season and had a career best of 9 stops against Vanderbilt
And his first interception for 21 yards.
Several of his teammates have tweeted asking for prayers on his recovery.
