LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man convicted of beating his girlfriend's 3-year-old child to death is set to learn his sentence later today.
A coroner says the child died of blunt force trauma while Lawrence Webster was caring for him in Oct. 2011. Webster called 911 from the child's Shively apartment to report the child wasn't breathing and was unresponsive.
He was arrested and charged with attempted murder hours before the child's death. A Louisville jury has recommended 20 years in prison for Webster.
