LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The city of Louisville is creating four new running races -- the KentuckyOne Health Four De Lis Classic Series.
The first of the new races will be on Memorial Day, May 27, at 8 a.m. at Waterfront Park. It will be a 5K race and take place before the Mayor's Healthy Hometown Subway Hike, Bike & Paddle. It will begin on the Great Lawn and go along paths through Waterfront Park.
Three of the new races will be 5K (3.1 miles), while a fourth race will be a 10K.

Memorial Day, May 27, 8 a.m. Waterfront Park. 5K course. (prior to the Mayor's Healthy Hometown Subway Hike, Bike & Paddle)
Labor Day, Sept. 2, 8 a.m. Waterfront Park. 10K course. (prior to the Mayor's Healthy Hometown Subway Hike, Bike & Paddle)
Fall Trail Run, Oct. 19, 8 a.m. Jefferson Memorial Forest. 5K course. (prior to the annual Mayor's Fall Hike & Adventure)
Run Run Rudolph, Nov. 29, 2 p.m. 4th and Liberty. 5K course. (part of the Light Up Louisville celebration and activities)
The fee for the 5K runs is $25 in advance, $35 closer to the event. The 10K run is $35. For more information and to register online, go to www.headfirstperformance.com. Individuals can also register on site the day of each race. Everyone registering in advance will be guaranteed a T-shirt.
