Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A public hearing next week will look into the cargo ship collision that collapsed part of a western Kentucky bridge.
The Delta Mariner crashed into the Eggner's Ferry Bridge across the Tennessee River near Aurora, Kentucky on January 26, 2012.
A 322-foot section of the bridge fell into the river. No one was hurt.
Kentucky officials want $7.1 million in damages from the company that operated the cargo ship. That company is asking a federal judge to dismiss that claim and others that add up to $7.8 million.
