LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- We now know the name of the man who was driving the wrong way on I-264 last night.
33-year-old Timothy A. Sharp was pronounced dead at the scene Friday evening around 8:45 p.m.
His death was due to multiple blunt force injuries.
Police say he was driving the wrong on I-264 near the Cane Run Road exit. He collided with another vehicle, injuring two people.
Traffic was shut down four hours in the west bound lanes.
Officials on scene told WDRB the car was going east bound in the west bound lanes of I-264 when they collided head on with other car.
Sharp's passenger was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the car he hit was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
No names have been released of the other two other people who were injured.
Police have not released a cause for the crash at this time.
