LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jury selection in the trial of a man involved in a love triangle that concluded in murder began Monday, and will likely continue on Tuesday.
Mundt and his former partner, Joseph Banis, are accused of killing their meth dealer and sex partner James Carroll back in Dec. 2009.
Carroll's body was found months later, buried in a plastic container in the basement of the couple's home after being hog-tied, beaten, stabbed and shot.
Banis was on trial earlier this year, and took a plea deal to avoid the death sentence.
As part of his plea deal, Banis will be called as a witness in Mundt's trial.
