LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has nabbed an accused wig thief, according to an arrest warrant.

Authorities say that on May 6, 35-year-old Jackie R. Moore walked into JJ's Wig Shop, near the corner of S. 4th St. and W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., and tried to hide eight wigs, worth $500, in her purse. When confronted by the store manager, she allegedly "became agitated" and knocked the manager to the ground.

The store manager was able to grab Moore's purse and Moore dropped it, running away.

Inside the purse, the manager found Moore's driver's license and vehicle information.

An arrest warrant was issued for Moore, and Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies took her into custody Friday morning. She's been charged with robbery.
