LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A ceremony to remember homicide victims includes those who died in the Carroll County bus crash.  The annual Crime Victims' Rights Day Rally was held Monday afternoon.

The names of 33 homicide victims were added to the memorial.  Those who were killed in the Carroll County crash were also remembered.

Tuesday marks 25 years since 27 people died -- mostly children -- when a drunk driver slammed into the bus.

Karolyn Nunnallee, the mother of one of the young victims, was the featured speaker:  "We can either become bitter or better and we can make change if we so choose. We have to take those steps and do what we can to make the world a safer place.  But hopefully by changing laws and making change for whatever negative has occurred in our lives.

Several memorial services and a showing of a documentary about the crash are planned for Tuesday.
