The Waggin' Trail Walk for the Animals returns May 18 to Tom Sawyer State Park. There will be more than 700 animal lovers and their pets at the largest walk and 5k run for homeless pets.
The Kentucky Humane society is hosting its 19th annual fundraising walk. During the event, pets and people can enjoy a timed 5K run or walk, family-friendly activities, tie-dye station, adoptable pets, vendors and more.
Registration for the competitive 5K run starts at 8 a.m. The Fun Walk starts at 10 a.m. There will be a cake walk, an awards ceremony and an Adoption Option Pet Parade Showcasing Adoptable Pets.
