Choreographing fight scenes for Broadway Series' "West Side Story"

The iconic musical "West Side Story" hits the stage at the Kentucky Center. The show comes complete with the famous fight scenes between the Jets and Sharks. The tour's Fight Captain, Greg London, is showing how those scenes are choreographed along with cast members Louis Napoleon and Michale Schultz.

WEST SIDE STORY tells the story of star-crossed lovers Tony and Maria as they struggle to rise above the hatred and intolerance that surrounds them. WEST SIDE STORY soars as the greatest love story of all time and remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever. The Bernstein and Sondheim score is considered to be one of Broadway's finest and features such classics of the American musical theatre as "Something's Coming," "Tonight," "America," "I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere."

WEST SIDE STORY will play The Kentucky Center May 14-19, 2013. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 29, starting at $25, and will be available at The Kentucky Center box office (501 W Main Street), by calling 502-584-7777, or online at www.Kentuckyenter.org  or www.TicketMaster.com . The performance schedule will be Tuesday through Thursday evening at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday evening at 8:00 pm, Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm, Sunday matinee at 1:00 pm and Sunday evening at 6:30 pm.
