LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman who was hospitalized after an assault said one of her attackers allowed his pit bull to maul her.
According to an arrest report, police were called to S. 24th Street, near W. Jefferson St., on March 12, 2013. That's where they found the victim, who was unconscious.
She told police that her boyfriend, along with Jessie L. Taylor II, assaulted her. During the assault, she was struck several times with a recycling bin. The victim also says that she was mauled by Taylor's pit bull.
The woman was hospitalized with multiple bite wounds on both arms and her right leg, as well as severe lacerations to her face and upper lip.
Taylor was arrested on May 16 and charged with assault. He's being held at Metro Corrections.
