LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Half a dozen Kentuckiana residents are behind bars, after federal agents make a huge marijuana bust in Louisville.
The six were arrested, after agents found close to five thousand pounds of marijuana in a warehouse near Preston Highway and Fern Valley Road.
They're accused of hauling the drugs to Kentucky for packaging and sale.
Drug Enforcement agents followed the six men, using wiretaps and tracking GPS data through Kentucky and Indiana.
Police say the men were working as part of a drug trafficking organization, and had packaged the marijuana in produce containers for cabbage and onions, to help mask the odor of the drug.
