On Saturday, May 25, the streets of Downtown Elizabethtown will be buzzing with families, the smell of barbecue, the rockin' sounds of blues, and the sight of thousands of motorcycles. The inaugural BBQ, Blues & Bikes Festival will kick off with the goal of becoming an annual event that includes a sanctioned barbecue contest and great live blues music.
BBQ, Blues & Bikes present "Tots & Trikes" during the event.
Children from 2-10 years of age can dress up in their favorite costume and decorate their trike or bike for a parade that begins at WQXE. A trophy will be awarded for best costume and for best dressed trike/bike.
The event will kick off at 12:00 p.m. and will continue until 10:00 p.m. Blues bands will be performing throughout the day.
The barbeque will be ready to serve at lunch and will be available throughout the day plus a children's play zone with lots of activities for families.
Motorcycle clubs from multiple states have been invited to line the streets of Elizabethtown with current and vintage motorcycles.
