LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- It looks like Pee Wee won't have his big adventure in Louisville.
Will Russell started Lebowski Fest, a celebration of the movie "The Big Lebowski." It has become so popular that there are now Lebowski Fests across the country.
He planned to create "Pee Wee over Louisville" to focus on the movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure." But Russell received a cease and desist letter from Paul Ruebens, who played Pee Wee Herman, and has decided to cancel the event.
Will Russell says he hopes to find a compromise to make it work in the future.
