LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A sting operation in Jeffersonville, Ind., leads to one arrest during a meth bust.

Officials searched a home on the 3000-block of Clearstream Way in Jeffersonville and discovered a small methamphetamine lab.

A Clarksville police officer working with the investigation told WDRB that police recovered 10 grams of cooked meth.

One person, Nickolas Wedding, of the home, is under arrest, and police are investigating another possible suspect.  Wedding is charged with several offenses, including manufacturing and possession of meth and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  The charges could be aggravated further because the home is within 1,000 feet of a school, police said.

Wedding sat in the Clark County Jail Friday evening.

This operation was a joint effort between the narcotics units at the Clarksville and Jeffersonville police departments.

They have been investigating a drug ring of meth manufacturers and distributors.
