The Disco Ball supports local restaurant workers

Put on your favorite bell bottoms, bandeau top or polyester suit and boogie down with disco sounds from the 70's while enjoying delicious cocktails and dishes from over 25 of Louisville's top restaurants. Participating restaurants include Cafe Lou Lou, Captain's Quarters, Martini Italian Bistro and many more.

Dawn Bianconcini from Apron, Inc. and mixologist Kyle Tabler from Volare Restaurant explained how the fundraiser helps restaurant and service workers who experience a hardship or don't have health insurance.

There will be a silent auction, which will include items such as a beautiful photograph by Pulitzer Prize-Winning photographer Dan Dry, Bourbon Cocktail Class for 20 people with "Bad Girl of Bourbon" Joy Perrine and more.

Tickets are only $40 if you buy online or $50 at the door. The VIP experience is $100. That includes guaranteed seating in theVIP section, a special cocktail- The Boogie Fever, and an APRON, Inc gift bag.

Food service professionals who have suffered an accident, family emergency, criminal act committed against such person or other catastrophic event are eligible for assistance.

APRON INC has filed with the IRSfor SOl(c)(3) status as a charitable organization and expects this to be issued in 2012.

APRON Inc. is an emergency assistance fund which is not insurance of any kind.
