The American World Festival celebrates Louisville's cultural diversity

The American World Festival celebrates Louisville's cultural and ethnic diversity. It's moving to the Iroquois Amphitheater for the first time in 23rd years. 

The Festival is Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Congressman John Yarmuth and Mayor Greg Fisher will also be there. Local bands Appalatin, The Monarchs and 100% Legal will perform.

The Kids Zone will have activities for children like face painting, arts and crafts and games. There fair with international crafts and other goods from local artists and vendors.

More than 6,000 people attended the Americana World Festival last year.
