Authorities say one person dead after two semis crash in Hardin Co.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities say a West Virginia man died, after two semi trucks collided along I-65 in Hardin County.

Police say the 56-year-old man from Kenova Wayne, West Virginia tried to serve to avoid another semi, but ended up hitting the trailer.

He was then ejected from his truck, and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other truck was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and was later released.

The crash shut down two lanes of I-65 North for several hours yesterday afternoon.
