LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Insight customers spent a lot of time on the phone today assuming they had service.
It was the big switchover day for more than 730-thousand Insight phone customers to Time Warner.
WDRB received calls about long waits on the phone for customer service, so our David Scott decided to give it a try.
After waiting 30 minutes on the phone, he gave up and made another call to Time-Warner spokesperson, Mike Hogan.
Hogan says waits that have been around 35 to 40 minutes today should get shorter.
"If the call volume is real high, we continue to beef-up the staff. If it's low, there's not a need for that many people. But, right now, it looks like we'll have additional staff on hand to take care of these customer care issues," says Hogan.
There also have been service outages, but Hogan says those have all been fixed.
There could be more of these problems, as Time Warner switches over email and internet service next Monday.
