LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been accused of robbing a local bank, according to an arrest report.
Police say it happened on March 20, shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the BB&T bank on Taylor Blvd., near Berry Blvd. According to the arrest report, 34-year-old Daniel Whelan, Jr. walked into the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money.
He also allegedly told the banker several times that, "I don't wanna hurt nobody."
Whelan ran away after receiving the money, police say.
He was arrested June 19 and charged with first degree robbery.
