LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing multiple burglary charges after he allegedly broke into 23 storage units at a self storage facility.

According to an arrest report, it happened at the Westport Mini Storage facility on Westport Road, near Dove Creek Way, shortly after midnight Thursday.

Police say 28-year-old Dustin Michael Riggle cut the locks on the 23 storage units and broke in, "with the intent to commit theft in each."

According to arrest reports, he took roughly $10,000 worth of property from the storage units.

Police say the owner of self-storage facility discovered what had happened and found the stolen property in Riggle's storage unit.

He was arrested Thursday evening and charged with multiple counts of burglary, according to arrest reports.
