WHY Louisville to celebrate anniversary with inaugural March of the Colonels

LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- You might see a multitude of Kentucky Colonels marching down East Market Street in Louisville on Saturday.

In celebration of WHY Louisville's 8 year anniversary, Kentucky Colonels will march behind a Wax Colonel Sanders figure in a remote controlled Hoveround down East Market Street in NuLu.

WHY Louisville owner Will Russell says anyone is welcome to join in.

Registered Kentucky Colonels must wear string ties and white jackets to march in the front of the pack.

Non-colonels may march behind the Kentucky Colonel Bucket.

All registered Kentucky Colonels will receive a complimentary string tie.

The march will start at WHY Louisville 2 at 806 E. Market St. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 and end at Garage Bar.
