Escaped Hardin Co. inmate caught by police

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An inmate from the Hardin County Detention Center who escaped during community service work this morning has been caught by authorities.

Anthony Dale Kelley is serving for parole violation on theft and burglary charges.

He was doing community service work detail at the Elizabethtown High School transportation department. The escape was reported immediately by the supervisor when he lost sight of Kelley.

According to a news release late Saturday night, Kelley was caught and arrested in a parking lot of a hospital after a short pursuit in the woods.
