Two Iraqi men charged with terrorism "in transit"
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Iraqi men in federal prison for terrorism charges in Kentucky, are getting new federal homes.
32-year-old Waad Ramadan Alwan is "in transit." Alwan had been serving a 40-year sentence a federal prison in Terre Haute.
25-year-old Mohanad Shareef Hammadi is serving life in prison in Oklahoma. He had been held at a prison in Kentucky.
The pair pleaded guilty to conspiring to ship thousands in cash, weapons, and missiles to al-Qaida in Iraq.
Both were arrested in Bowling Green.
