Each summer the Madame Alexander Doll Club holds its annual convention. It has been in locations all over the continental United States.
This year the club brought the National Convention to the Louisville Marriott Downtown, June 26-29.
Hundreds of collectors and enthusiasts get involved in events, workshops, seminars, a competitive exhibit, sales room, raffle room, special exhibit and the annual MADC meeting. Madame Alexander Doll Club was founded in 1961 to promote the love and appreciation of Madame Alexander dolls by children of all ages.
Parents and children have been enjoying MADC together for over 50 years.
Since the first convention in 1983, members have been gathering annually to share the beauty of Madame Alexander dolls with special exhibits, competitive displays, meal events and other events.
Founded by "Madame" Beatrice Alexander Behrman in 1923, this is a milestone year as the Alexander Doll Company is celebrating its 90th birthday.
