Louisville takes part in National HIV Testing Day
LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Louisville is participating in National HIV Testing Day. The free, confidential tests are available at Jefferson Square Park from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday.
About one thousand red ribbons will be planted in the park to represent residents in Jefferson County who are living with HIV.
The Metro Public Health and Wellness mobile unit will provide testing using an oral swab method, which doesn't require a blood stick.
Test results will be available within 20 minutes. You don't need an appointment.
