LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---Hundreds of people used their appetites on Saturday to contribute to local charities.

270 people turned out for Dishcrawl in St. Matthews to sample various eateries, bars and restaurants.

Dishcrawl is a self-guided food tour.

Money raised from tickets sold to the event went to six local charities including Home of the Innocents, St. Benedicts Child Care Center, American Cancer Society, No Kill Louisville, Orphan Care Alliance and Supporting Heroes, which helps raise money for families of fallen officers.

This is the first time Dishcrawl has played host to a charity event.
