The 2013 Crescent Hill Fourth of July Festival is two days of celebration and good old- fashioned fun on the grounds of the historic Peterson-Dumesnil House in Crescent Hill.
This years festival is on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with Fireworks both nights at 10 p.m.
Live music fires up on two stages each day at noon, featuring top local and regional talent - Bluegrass, Country, Classic Rock, Gypsy Jazz, Folk, Americana, Dixieland Jazz, Celtic, Singer-Songwriter, Pop, 40's, 50's, 60's, and Top 40.
The Kentucky Homefront "Live Radio Show" hits the Main Stage at 8 p.m. Friday, July 5th, with host, John Gage.
John will bring his original old-fashioned radio show to the Crescent Hill main stage until the fireworks start at 10 p.m.
Festival starts with traditional 5K Fun Run on the 4th, followed by Opening Ceremonies, an Antique Car Parade down Frankfort Ave followed by display on the grounds, outrageously popular Pet Show, Children's Field Games, Children's Activity Area and Bouncies, extensive Food Court, Cake Wheel and Beer and Brats.
Add 90+ juried artist booths open each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (some later) and you have the makings of good old-fashioned 4th of July celebration.
Easy shuttle parking off Grinstead Ave. at the Southern Baptist Seminary and on side streets.
