LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly attacking a man who confronted him when he was in the process of illegally dumping trash.

According to an arrest report, it happened at 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say 19-year-old Brandon Roeder was riding in a pickup truck driven by his father. Both men were allegedly trying to illegally dump furniture in the area, when they were confronted by a man who was yelling, angry about the alleged illegal dumping.

According to the arrest report, Roeder grabbed a "tire changing tool" and attacked the victim, causing physical injuries.

Roeder was arrested in the area of Lake Dreamland Road and Overbrook Drive and charged with second degree assault. The condition of the victim is not known at this time.
