LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A rainy Independence Day has affected and postponed several area 4th of July celebrations.
Fort Knox announced Wednesday that its celebrations would be moved inside and that the fireworks show is canceled.
Campbellsville-Taylor County rescheduled all July 4 activities. Fireworks will now take place on July 12, and the parade is July 13.
The Oldham County fireworks show at Wendell Moore Park in Buckner has been postponed until Friday, July 5 at 10 p.m.
Elizabethtown announced today that the festivities and fireworks are canceled, and no rescheduling date has been announced yet.
Shelbyville Parks and Rec tells WDRB the "Shake the Lake" celebration originally set for today will now be held next Saturday, July 13 at 6 p.m. The celebration at Clear Creek Park will have fireworks at 10 p.m.
