LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman confined to a wheelchair because of a brain tumor was the victim of a heinous sex crime, according to police.
And the suspect is the man entrusted with her care.
According to an arrest report, 36-year-old Johnathon W. Foster was the woman's caregiver and lived at her address. Police say he fondled her and performed a sex act on her on Tuesday, July 2.
He confessed to the crime, according to the arrest report.
Foster was charged with first degree sodomy and first degree sex abuse.
It's not the first time he's been in trouble with the law, according to online records. The Kentucky Sex Offender Registry indicates that Foster was a non-compliant sex offender who had been convicted of the sexual abuse of a 5-year-old victim in the past.
