LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A memorial is set for the Indiana State Police K-9 killed in the line of duty.
Kilo was shot and killed on June 24 while searching for an armed suspect in Sellersburg, Ind., during a SWAT standoff.
Suspect Joshua Priddy faces 18 felony charges, including seven counts of attempted murder and one count of killing a law enforcement animal.
The private memorial service for Kilo begins at 1 p.m. Monday at the Northside Christian Church in New Albany. Law enforcement and family and friends of Kilo's handler, Trooper Nathan Abbott, are invited to attend.
