Abused dog has leg amputated

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A pit bull who was found severely abused in Louisville has had to have his back left leg amputated.  The dog, named Frodo, was found tied to a fence on West Kentucky Street near South 26th Street.

Louisville Metro Animal Services found him with duct tape wrapped around his mouth on Tuesday.

Donations can be made to the Arrow Fund at https://thearrowfund.org/ to help pay for Frodo's medical expenses.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
