LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was arrested and taken into custody after police find drugs and gun during a traffic stop.
Indiana State Police say a trooper was patrolling I-65 in Jackson County when he stopped a 2005 GMC U-Haul truck near the 48 mm for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, ISP says the trooper became suspicious of possible criminal activity. The trooper soon after developed enough probable cause to search the vehicle, according to ISP.
During the search of the car, ISP says the trooper located marijuana, cocaine, pills, paraphernalia, scales, a handgun, an "Uzi" style gun with a 30 round magazine, and a pump action shotgun.
60-year-old Warren C. Stevenson of San Antonio, Texas was arrested.
Stevenson was transported to Jackson County Jail, and was charged with possession of cocaine with a Firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
