Local business donates profits to help Frodo recover

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local business is helping pets who are tortured, abused or neglected.

On July 20th from 2pm until close, the Back Door Bar & Grill in the Highlands is donating all of the money from food sales made that day, and will also match up to $2,000 in total profits to help The Arrow Fund.

All this comes after Frodo the pitbull was found last tied to a fence on West Kentucky Street.

Frodo's caregivers say his overall health is improving after he had his leg amputated during surgery.

The Arrow Fund, believes Frodo was used for dog fighting.

A $5,000 reward is also being offered for information leading to an arrest in Frodo's case.
