INDIANAPOLIS (WDRB) -- Effective immediately, the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) will return the recently discovered overcharge of operator's licenses, in the form of a credit, to every affected motorist's account.
This means that when a motorist goes to a local branch or to our website to conduct any type of transaction, the final charge will reflect their credit.
"In order to make Hoosiers whole, we believe it is important to return the overcharge directly to those who have been impacted," said R. Scott Waddell, Commissioner of the BMV said. "It is the right thing to do."
