LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- At least 5 people are dead in north central Kentucky after a devastating house fire.
The fire broke out early Saturday morning in Bracken County, leaving behind just a shell of the home.
Officials initially reported that 2 people died as a result of the blaze.
But as crews sifted through the charred rubble, they found 3 more bodies.
A medical chopper flew one survivor to the University of Cincinnati medical center and is in stable condition.
Neighbors say a couple lived in the home with their 4 children.
Fire investigators are not sure of a cause.
