Fairness campaign rallys after Zimmerman acquittal

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 100 people attended a rally Sunday to show support for Trayvon Martin.

They called the acquittal of George Zimmerman "disappointing."

The group gathered at the Braden Center, where everyone had a chance to speak out about the "not guilty" verdict, and the death of the Florida teenager.

"This has brought the worst out in people," said Shevonda Fuller. "I have seen everything from people trying to say whatever they can to downplay the fact a child has been murdered and his killer walked free."

Many people displayed signs and banners calling for racial justice.
