LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person is dead after a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood late Monday night.

Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell confirms that officers were called to a shooting on Greenwood Avenue near 32nd Street about 11:30 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the body of 24 year old Steve Bledsoe Junior in the street. He died at the scene. Mitchell says there are no suspects.

A neighbor says he heard up to 15 shots just before the man was found.

Louisville Metro Police say they have leads in the case, and they also say that Bledsoe did not live on that street.

Bledsoe was charged with murder at one time, but that charge was dismissed.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
