LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people have been arrested after they were allegedly found inside a Louisville hotel room with drugs and thousands of dollars in cash.

According to an arrest report, it happened early Wednesday morning shortly after 3:30 at the Ramada Limited & Suites near the corner of Crittenden Drive and Central Avenue.

Police say they were called to the hotel room on a report of trouble taking place between the people inside: 37-year-old Jeremy Keen and 36-year-old Amy Brown.

When officers arrived, Keen let them in. Police say they saw two needles containing what appeared to be heroin. They also allegedly found multiple bags of suspected heroin and over $16,000 in cash.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
