State police: woman offered money, sex to avoid DUI arrest

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- State police arrest a Shelbyville woman after they say she offered sex and money to a trooper to avoid a DUI arrest.

43-year-old Tracy Warner's charges include bribery of a public servant and first offense DUI.  She  is charged with bribery and DUI.

Officers arrested Warner just after midnight Friday at a safety checkpoint on Kentucky 395 in Shelby County, according to a news release.

They say she "made repeated attempts" to resist arrest by offering cash and sexual favors.

Bribery of a public servant is a Class C felony.

The Shelby County Detention Center website did not show Warner in custody late Friday night.
