Man killed after driving into a building

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One man died after the car his was driving crashed into a building. According to the New Albany Police Department, the diver was the only person in the car.

Police got the call about the crash on State Road 111 at Corydon Pike at 3:43 a.m. on Saturday. Officers determined the driver received fatal injures due to the collision.

The Floyd County Combined Accident Reconstruction Team says a white 2013 Mustang was traveling at a high rate of speed and left the roadway at a curve onto Corydon Pike. The car then struck Alan's Automotive. The building was heavily damaged.

The identity of the diver has not been released.
