Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Coal-fired power plants are making Louisville and Kentucky among the most polluted places in the nation, and it's time for the federal government to do something about it.
That was the message today, as local officials tried to bring attention to the impact they say coal emissions are having on pollution and climate change.
Today, local and state leaders called for congress to address the problem.
Forbes recently ranked Louisville the 9th most polluted city in the U-S, and another survey puts Kentucky 6th worst for mercury contamination.
