LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- French Lick Resort will be the site of the 76th Senior PGA Championship in 2015. The championship will be held on the resort's Pete Dye Course from May 21-24, 2015.
The resort says this will be the fourth major championship it has hosted, following the 1924 PGA Championship, the 1959 and 1960 LPGA Championships, and the 2010 PGA Professional National Championship. This will be the first time the Senior PGA Championship will visit Indiana.
PGA of America President Ted Bishop said in a news release, "It is exciting to have the opportunity to bring the Championship to French Lick, which most recognize as the hometown of basketball legend Larry Bird, but also became a site of golf history when Walter Hagen, one of our Association founders, enhanced his legendary career."
