LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It looks like Louisville-based Texas Roadhouse can blame a big party for the fact that its second-quarter net income fell from a year ago.
The chain is reporting $19.9 million in net income, from April through June, which is down about $1.4 million from the same period last year.
But, Texas Roadhouse says it spent about $2.3 million more than usual on its annual managing partner conference, which was held in Hawaii and marked the company's 20th anniversary.
The good news, the chain says its total revenue for the 2nd quarter was up $32 million, compared to a year ago.
